New Luxury Suite in Maine's Highlands

The Mt. Kineo Suite made its debut in June, 2008 at the Lodge at Moosehead Lake. Over the winter, the Bortis’ built a floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the living room and a totally new bathroom. “It’s a five-diamond bathroom”, said one guest experiencing this new luxury accommodation. The bathroom features a double slipper soaking tub in front of a stone wall, tile floors and large tile shower. The Mt. Kineo Suite perches a top the Carriage House and offers spectacular views of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains. This new suite was designed to accommodate four, consisting of two couples traveling together or a family with older children. It is the ultimate in luxury travel accommodations and to top it off, the Lodge offers private dining in the suite with advance reservations. The suite is equipped with a full kitchen and dining space as well as a deck. The Lodge at Moosehead Lake is inland Maine’s only AAA Four Diamond Award winner for the last fourteen years.
